Ramadan is a sacred month filled with blessings and opportunities for spiritual growth. As the first ten days have passed, we have entered the second Ashra, which holds a special significance. These ten days, from the 10th to the 20th of Ramadan are known as the 2nd Ashra of Ramadan, the days of forgiveness (Ayyamu al-Maghfirah).

During this time, the focus shifts towards seeking Allah’s (SWT) forgiveness and increasing our acts of repentance. This is a time to reflect on our shortcomings and make a sincere effort to mend our ways.

Significance of 2nd Ashra of Ramadan

Here are some ways to make the most of the second Ashra:

We open ourselves to Allah’s infinite mercy and forgiveness by devoting ourselves to these practices. Moreover, the second Ashra is a chance to cleanse our hearts, renew our intentions, and prepare ourselves for the blessings of Laylat al-Qadr (The Night of Power) which is believed to fall within the last ten days.

May this Ramadan be a time of deep reflection, forgiveness, and spiritual growth for all Muslims.
